A stonelord's death
Thirteen rock slabs engraved with runes. The first stone is heavily decorated and it is complicated to find the rune amongst all the filigree. The rune is there though, two of them to be exact: "death" and "stonelord".
After a short introduction in the first few slabs, the last ten slabs are dedicated to a poem or a song. Whichever it is, the text is written in verses. The runes are heavily decorated and each tablet is a small work of art in and of itself.
The verses have words that have faded from common speech but it is not hard to comprehend or old enough for it to be considered archaic. The text references the stonelords different powers and how these affect their burials.

Each stone tablet of the actual poem or song entails with a stonelord's powers and how they increase a stonelord's connection to Auxolith. This is all in turn connected to their death, as their bones become vessels of the growing rock's power.
According to the poem, for that is what the text is, stonelord bones have the ability to enhance the growing rock's power. So they are used to seal caves and tunnels that are no longer wanted or desired. The mightier the stonelord, the faster the growth of the stone.
