Draugr

The Draugr are monsters, aye, but they be men as well. Elves. Their flesh rots in vapor, and their brains too, an' they become dark things; things what make nightmares for the rest of us.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Draugr (pronounced "drow") are heavily diseased (see Elven Gangrene) elves, with flesh rotting off as with human leprosy, and the mental effects of tertiary syphilis or worse. They are considered highly dangerous, and often need to be put down rather than treated.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Draugr eat voraciously any living matter. Their biological instincts assume they must eat to refresh the water leaking through their open sores and wounds, despite the fact that too much water was the cause of the ailment. (They have no separate thirst, as free water does not exist on Saracelli.)
