6th of Rainop, 859 Uaren

6th of Rainop, 859   I found a cat locked in a cage being harassed by some kids; they left after a while, after which I let him out. The poor thing had a broken leg. I did as much as I could, but he probably can't run for a while.   Those bastards didn't even consider him a living thing, just an object for their sick desires. Nothing should be treated like that—not animals, not human beings, ekk mikk.   Working eom en rent knet isn't eom slalig eom jeg bethi dath'd ath, dokk jeg tokir hathorth eth igur kvannr kloka arn mikk jikablith jeg'm att object rir tharas yngrjust. Jeg ynstar disgusted, oz jeg gotek ynstar jikablith en uri   I want to get out of this line of business. I'm sure I can find better jobs out there—something that doesn't make me feel like a yngrjust toy.   (Some parts are left in dwarvish; it seems the writer didn't wish to translate those parts.)

6th of Vanm, 861 Uaren

6th of Vanm, 861   Today we encountered the old lady again; this time I fell in with less grace, and my head still hurts a bit from that fall.   We encountered the regular goblins, but we also fought this spirit thing; it was quite sturdy, but it fell like the others.   This time, we also had to solve a puzzle to get to the next room.   Everything inside that dungeon should have been constructed by mana, but if that's the case, then why on earth do I still have this robot?   I am perplexed by it; it's quite old from what I've deduced, and it seems to need a Tier 6 electric rune, which will be quite hard for me to obtain without the backing of my family.   Speaking of family i wonder how Carmella's doing; hopefully, without me there, she's being treated better by that hag. I should send letters to William as well. I know it's been quite hard for him since Desmond died, and with me out of the family, he'll be taking over once Father dies.   Hopefully he'll send that hag out once he does take over; only Father likes that bitch. I don't know what he sees in that demon.   We will be heading out to the outpost soon. I should prepare the necessary supplies and maybe buy some laundry detergent as well.   I just recently made a laundry bin for me and Luka, but for some reason the whole party—even Kazek—thought it was for everyone, and I had to wash all of their clothes. I don't think this will be the last time this happens, so I must prepare.

1st of Vanm, 861 Uaren

1st of Vanm, 861   I took a stroll through the city today, and I spotted some beautiful rhododendrons. Though I couldn't buy them, it's really a shame. They would have added some nice color to the inn.   A few blocks down from the blacksmith, I found a flower shop. They sold carnations, tulips, dahlias, and, I think, some peony as well.   I bargained with the lady to get a lower price on them. I think they'll make a wonderful addition to the inn, and hopefully Luka will find them delightful, not that I care about what he thinks.   Speaking of that man, he sort of reminds me of Helios; from the way he speaks to the way he walks, it's kind of warming. Even when I don't know where he is, he still manages to be with me, wherever he is. I hope he's doing well, even without me.

39th of Dam, 861 Uaren

39th of Dam, 861   Right as I, as well as that young kid Kirill and that bum Banny, went out to go get groceries, we encountered this old woman.   She asked us something I can't quite recall, but soon after, we were transported into some sort of dimension, similar to that of a neurorealm.   We had to fight off some goblins, then we were transported back out. It was quite an interesting experience. I need to study that technique; it could prove quite useful.   That was the only interesting thing that happened today, unless you find Banny stumbling into a wall a multitude of times interesting.   I'm not one to dwell on the past, but I have been thinking about it more often now. I suppose it's due to me having more free time in my hands.     This party, I've found comfort in it. It's an odd thing, isn't it? Finding more comfort in a group of strangers than in your own home.   Well, I ought to sleep now; the next month is rolling by, and I need to check on a few things tomorrow.

35th of Vanm, 854 Uaren

35th of Vanm,   Today was exhausting; the whole party was unnecessary. I requested that my father stop hosting these extravagant birthdays since I was twelve, but he refused to budge. At least Carmella seemed to enjoy herself.     I don't know how she enjoys these; being stuck in a crowd with the attention of strangers is a nightmare for me, and when Duke Rio placed his hands on my shoulder, I damn near had a panic attack.     Lady Helena has been helping with the trauma, and I have been getting better, but I'm still terrified by touch. Sometimes I wish I could go back and kill the bastard, but unfortunately I cannot.     I think I will end it here; there is nothing left for me to write about, and I would rather not think about that disgusting tutor.

28th of Dam, 861 Uaran

28st of Dam, 861   The commissioned robots were finally finished; hopefully they will make up for the incompetence of that damn drunk.   On a side note, the new member—I believe their name was Kirill—wasn't half bad. The young boy, Kirill, shows impressive martial arts skills. Overall i do not believe he will hinder the group, unlike that waste mana.   I am going to rest. The sanctity of sleep is the comfort for this annoying headache.

25th of Dam, 861 Uaran

25th of Dam, 861   I've thought about how I'm going to kill him, but now that I've got it figured out, I don't want him to simply die. That would be far too nice for a moron like him. I'll slowly make him go insane and watch as his mind breaks apart. I've sent a letter to my sister, who should have received it by now. All I need to do is wait.   We have made it back to the inn. Everyone's gone into their rooms. The kid disappeared again. I should follow him one of these days. Luka is in the shower. And the package arrived.   Sorry, Banny, but you had this coming.   I spiked his drink with some Furiam. He won't even know he's been poisoned until it's already incurable.   He will slowly go insane from the effects. If they are severe enough, he might go blind. Even if he does, it's not like his aim will get any worse. Anyway, everyone is currently sleeping. I stole another of Luka's shirts; they're really nice. I'll pay him back one day.   I'm thinking of going for a night walk; it helps clear my head.

24th of Dam, 861 Uaran

24th of Dam, 861   I am going to kill him.   I knew that idiot would do nothing good; Goddamn Moron almost killed me, trapped Luka, Kirill, Kazek, in one failed spell. W.G. was destroyed because everyone except me was trapped. W.G. will be rebuilt later, but for now I've got to prepare fo-   I'm back. We found a goblin watching us. I burned him into ash, but his screaming was loud, so we are heading out now before the goblins finish preparing for our arrival. I'm a bit annoyed that we have to leave so soon, but it will help me forget about what that idiot did.

22nd of Dam, 861 Uaran

22nd of Dam, 861   I managed to seduce the inn manager to get a free room. It disgusts me, though. Me and that Luka fellow will be staying in the same room. I dont know what I was thinking back then, it isn't too bad that he doesn't snore and he has some comfy clothes. I think he knows that I wear some of his shirts, but he hasn't confronted me about it. they're really nice to wear; it feels smooth, and it's very flowy. I should ask him where he bought them.   Last night some idiot tried to break inside Banny's room. Luka found him. We almost killed the kid. His name is Kirill. He tried to tell us a fake name at first, but after we talked a bit more, he opened up and told us his real name. Luka invited him to sleep with us.   Yeah, he invited a stranger with us, doesn't he know the basics of staying safe? Luckily, the child didn't kill us. Kazek, Luka, and Banny decided it was a good idea to invite him with us. I tried to persuade them otherwise, but they didn't listen.   Well, I will leave it here. I need to prepare for our next incursion. I made a deal with the blacksmith to get him some Durantine in exchange for his talents. Even though all we expect to fight are goblins, I still have to prepare. If one ever goes out unprepared, that will be their doom, and I'm not planning on dying any time soon.

21st of Dam, 861 Uaran

21st of Dam, 861   My sister Carmella gave me this journal back when I was still in the family. I think it has some notes from what my old teacher taught me. For some reason, I wrote it in dwarvish, and my handwriting back then was complete shit, so I'll be needing to translate it to find out if anything in it is useful. But for now, I will be writing about my recent experiences here.   It's been a day since I first joined up with these idiots, and not all of them are bad. I quite like that man named Luka; he's reliable and did great work against that Golem. That Kazek fellow feels a bit odd, but he's proven that he can take care of himself. Though I often hear a voice coming from beside him, it's weird. Speaking of weird, there's this guy named Banny. He owns a dog who seems smarter than him. He's one hell of a moron. Why the hell is he joining us?   W.G. has been running well; no major damage was sustained from that battle earlier. I still miss my family.   My sister has been sending me letters regarding the household. I want to meet her face-to-face soon.
