Amulet of Slumbering

The Amulet of Slumbering is a necklace that was found by Tenasa during her journey in the Shadowlands. With it, her connection to the realm of Ardenweald grew stronger, as well as allowing her to access her own anima. With every dream that is shared in the presence of this amulet, the wielder's anima grows stronger.

History

Eons ago in Ardenweald a Tirnenn was watching over one of the many groves, where the Souls were slumbering until their rebirth. Adneewyddu was one of the Tirnenn who watched over the grove. One day she found a heavy wounded large moth, who was a guardian in the grove. The poor animal was attacked by an unknown force to weaken the grove. Adneewyddu could not do much to save the moth, but take its essence to reforge her into something new.
With the help of her arms, Adneewyddu absorbed the soul of the moth. Embrace it with her roots. "The branches you once dwelled in are out of your reach, but the roots of the tree will hold you safe forevermore." the Tirnenn said and after the roots moved back a blue gem was left behind. With some roots, Adneewyddu turned it into a necklace where the soul of the Moth will slumber now forever.
Eons later the Tirnenn fell in battle against the Drust in Tirna Marwol as they overrun the grove. Her body was plundered later by a Broker who was strolling along the empty battlefield, in the hope to find something interesting. The necklace was gone for a long time then as the Broker found it on the dried body of the Tirnenn.
In the time when the Sky shattered the necklace went through a lot of hands before being taken by Brokers and sold. Many could not figure out what is so special on the item. And so it ended up in the Archives of a Maldraxxi Necromancer, like other pieces from different realms. Before its Anima could be absorbed it was found by a Death Knight of Azeroth, Tenasa after they defeated the Necromancer.
The Necklace energy activated again, drawing the attention on another soul. A soul names Tamjal, he was a close friend to the Tirnenn Adneewyddu. As the Knights went to Ardenweald to meet this soul Tamjal decided that the necklace is in good hands.
The essence of a slumbering soul within the Necklace is safe again. For now.
