Crowton Blakemore

The Lone Patriot

"There was a handful of people - kaldorei and worgen, all gathered at night in Hillsbrad in the crater. Among them all was a chained one-eyed lithe man. His throat was torn open, the soldier covered in his own blood, a wicked and maddened grin stuck on his face. “You... do not disappoint” was all he could say as he coughed."

About

Sir Crowton Blakemore was known as a man of many names and allegiances. Supposedly bearing origin in Silverpine, the worgen became prominent during the Fourth War, known as a distinguished soldier of the 7th Legion and an even more skilled infiltrator. He took part in many warfronts, most notable of which was Battle for Dazar’alor.   What is known of the man prior to the war is few and far between - though it’s known he was born near Pyrewood Village, was an ally of the Northgate rebels and proceeded to seek out a number of elusive high-paid mercenary jobs in the years that followed the destruction of Gilneas.   With the war’s coming to an end, however, it’d become somewhat known that he has joined a group calling themselves “Dirge of Teldrassil”. He’d proceed to offer his loyal services to it, having been ranked as Darkcrest twice - once as one of the two original Darkcrests serving Sir Falathim of Darnassus before stepping down and after that being re-promoted back under Harbinger Vashava Nethersong.   He proceeded to become one of the founding fathers of the rather infamous Concordat and showed burning loyalty and kinship towards all within it, despite the group’s differences. On the Concordat’s first deployment to Zangarmarsh, however, he went missing soon after the Coilfang Reservoir’s storm. Both the Dirge and Alliance officials claim he was killed by a renegade orc’s axe in military service. The truth is, of course, not so blatant - although kept highly classified, some hushed whispers circulating around SI:7 headquarters reveal that Crowton was a double agent for the Black Moon and the Alliance who supposedly got tasked with manipulation and assassination of his boss, Vashava Nethersong, in order to end the Concordat’s warmongering and secure the armistice in place for the greater good of Azeroth. Some even suggest that Stormwind Intelligence continues to preserve his body to this day, though it is unclear how true that is.
