Dulnus Stonemantle

About

Known as the Boar of Khaz Modan, Dulnus Stonemantle is the oafish and stout Thane of Clan Stonemantle, a clan who have recently ascended in senatorial politics owing to their (supposed) banker wealth and strong warriors. It is only in recent times that Dulnus has become the head of the clan, and with it his new responsibilities as an ascended champion of Ironforge: a Mountain King.

Background

Born into the wealthy Stonemantle Clan, Dulnus was raised in the snowy outskirts of Kharanos learning the art of war from his clan Elders, which mainly consisted of slaying boars and trolls with axe and mace much to the detriment of his pious father, Krennen Stonemantle, who's attempts to coax the young lad towards the path of a priest or paladin resulted in many a drunk arguement and eventual brawl within the clan halls.
Having campaigned throughout the majority of wars and conflicts across Khaz Modan and the wider expanse of the Eastern Kingdoms, it has only been due to the stepping down of his father that Dulnus has ascended to prominence as a Thane of Clan Stonemantle and with it his own ascension as a Mountain King, combining his reverent faith in Khaz'goroth with his martial prowess into a deadly combination of dwarven fury.
In more recent times the Thane has been occupied with waging war as an Anvil-Guard of the League of Modimus alongside his dwarven kin as well as joint-operations alongside the Assemblage of Uld, even going as far as to end up falling in love with a gnone medic known as Mimi Sparkheart, much to the dismay of his clan elders and select members of the League.
While he has remained eternally oaf-like, stubborn and tobacco dependant, his commitment to the cause of safeguarding Khaz Modan has never come into question, and has even recently set up a business known as the Stoneheart Brewery in his current residence of Thelsamar alongside his beloved, in which they produce and sell the Stoneheart Special, a speciality whiskey often sold alongside Stonemantle tobacco. For now, Dulnus remains content to lead his dwarven kin into a new age of unity not seen since the days of Modimus himself.
