Hashir

“Light ... must ... remember ... the Light”

Appearance

Malformed, mutated – nothing but a grotesque perversion of what once was the sanctified Draenei race. It is difficult to tell apart his scars from his deformities – both innumerable, both decked across the unnaturally twisted physique. Every aspect of his appearance is freakish in nature – from the inconsistent coloring of his scaly skin to his disproportionally sized fingers. His elongated and bony face seems incapable of conveying expression. Unless he is forced with tremendous effort and apparent pain. This covers his countenance in the aeonian visage of a brick.

Background

Those familiar with the tragedy of the people known as Broken will know that prolonged exposure to storms of demonic magic has warped the existence of former Draenei into the Fel-infused, light-forsaken aberrations they are today.   Hashir remembers little of his past, besides a few flashing memories. He remained behind on Draenor when the Exodar fled, no doubt facing the brunt of the Legion’s invasion. His exposure to the Fel forces must have been so tremendous that the madness of abandonment clawing at his thoughts tore apart the fabrics of his mind. He was on the verge of irreparable madness, moments away from undergoing a further devolution into a Lost One when he was rescued by the tribe of Broken known as the Kurenai. These Krokuul, calling themselves “Redeemed” in the Draeneic tongue, rehabilitated him, extracted the Fel from his veins, and attempted to preserve his sanity in their home of Telaar.   They were successful to some degree, having halted his descent into madness, but were incapable of restoring his fractured mind. Hashir awoke in Telaar as a newborn kid, devoid of any memories from a life he once had. His name was the only thing that followed him due to him repeating it over and over. The Kurenai taught him to speak, to eat, to fight, and to survive.   From that day on; he would become known as Hashir of Outland, a Shadow-Walker and Telaari Border Guard.

Shadow-Walker

Severed from the Light, Hashir was forced to turn to new methods to survive the ever-writhing wars on Outland. He found solace not in the elements, like many of his kin, but in the cover of darkness... Learning to become one with the land, to slip from shadow to shadow, and to deceive the eyes of the unobservant, proved vital not only to his own survival – but to that of his people.

Present

Eager to restore lost connections between the Broken of Outland and their unafflicted cousins, Hashir traveled to Azeroth in search of like-minded Draenei. It was here that he was met by the Luminous Order of the Miracle at Oronaar, who welcomed him with open arms.   Since then; he has been accepted as an Acolyte of the Order, and has sworn himself to their cause.
