Neptulon's Revenge
About
The Neptulon's Revenge came straight after the fall of the Copper Queen. With her death, a new one entered the sea. She is made out of the remains of The Greedy Siren another vessel that was quite fast with the wind. However, changes have been made and thanks to Tyrinar she has a heart. The heart allows the ship to cheat through the natural things of life such as wind. The ship sails way faster than any other ship, even against the wind, she ignores the laws of nature. She has two layers of protection which is quite difficult to bite through. The first one would be what you see, the wooden planks, the hull, the deck,... But the second one is a spectral shape underneath it, it can only be harmed with necromancy or with nature. The heart itself is locked in a room, preventing it to be harmed. The ship entered the sea once the Copper Queen met her end, Neptulon's Revenge would be considered the ultimate ship the Corsairs always needed. Fast, well protected, and fearsome.Revenge at last
Her first appearance was during the Gloomspire Enclave expedition. The island radiated with dark sinister energies, thanks to the Queensguard they had a chance of using the ship for the first time. The Corsairs were told that the Horde would possibly make an appearance as well. Knowing Goldsail she launched an expedition to it as well, sailing across the sea to deliver the Loyalists. The day after that the Corsairs planted gunpowder barrels, sea mines around the isle, enough powder to blow a big hole in the ships. The day when the Horde sailed towards the isle they managed to get hit by one of the mines, two in fact. Little did Goldsail expect the Alliance to be so far from their beloved city. They too managed to trigger two mines, blaming the Horde for the blows which meant a battle on the sea. They opened fire, shooting at both factions and causing each other to waste ammo for the real threat. Minutes passed by until both of the factions grew tired, causing them to pay less attention to what was in front of them. A dark cloud, a fog approached their ship whilst covering the isle. Within seconds the storm got worse as the fog faded, a lightning bolt struck the sea near the isle, a ghostly-looking ship was visible, preparing to open fire once she was ready. Goldsail opens her throat, yelling: "Fire!". Neptulon's Revenge unleashed hell upon both Alliance and Horde ships causing both to sink and crash into the isle. The storm lasted for days until it faded into something lesser, both Horde and Alliance were stuck on the isle for some time whilst Neptulon's Revenge would be circling around the isle, scouting for any swimmers. Just like a wolf around its prey.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
