Sylvarus, the Stygian Star

A profane monstrosity of accursed stone and black magic, the Stygian Star represents the main base of operations of the Stygian Loyalists. The brainchild of Phillip Perroy, this citadel exists as a brutalist patchwork, cobbled together from the corpses of fallen Scourge ziggurats salvaged in the Frozen Wastes in the wake of the exile of the now-defunct Stygian Legion's diehard loyalist elements.
Though misshapen and a far cry from greater necropoli such as Naxxramus and Acherus, Sylvarus nevertheless presents a safe haven for the Banshee's undead and a threat to enemies of the Banshee Queen. Having survived several crashes - most notably in a costly operation said to have been vital in securing Sylvanas Windrunner's ascent to the Icecrown - the citadel now drifts uneasily, its deathly crystals cracked and its stonework mangled. Once possessing great destructive power in the form of a decimating beam of necrotic magic, its offensive capabilities have been vastly reduced to a squad of bat riders and a number of gargoyles, leading to its use primarily as a headquarters for the Banshee Queen's loyalists.
