The Angelone Family gained honest coin, until their wealth increased through corruption they willingly took part in by siding with the Syndicate. The family grew arrogant and deceitful and were eventually caught, resulting in all of them being sent to the Stockades. They were unable to survive the harsh conditions and their treatment from both guards and fellow inmates; except for one, the new patriarch of the fallen family. Vincent Angelone remained as the only living member of his family through his fighting spirit and resolve, despite losing a hand.
Throughout his years spent incarcerated, Vincent grew to despise Antoine Saltzwald - a rival who he resented as having escaped the fall of Alterac with his reputation intact, despite much of the House Saltzwald throwing their lot in with Perenolde and later the Syndicate. With Saltzwald's relative success through the founding of the First Sunnyglade Free Company . Vincent coveted Saltzwald's rising fortunes, and thus came to conspire against him.
One night Vincent Angelone escaped from the Stockades and began his plot to get revenge on Antoine, the target of his hatred. His actions are the cause of The Metal Hand Conspiracy, where he attempted to become a shadowy manipulator like his rival. During this time he would often pose as Warren Kain, a Saltzwald representative and spokesperson, using an unsettling mask of his face. He acted this out while based in a compound in the Swamp of Sorrows.
Failing this due to the Sunnyglade Ratters, Angelone was brought to their Paymaster on his knees. He it is said was sentenced to mine rocks for the rest of his days in a Saltzwald black site, where he would suffer worse conditions than his previous stretch. A fate worse than death for a man like him.
The compound he used after his escape is now owned by the Sunnyglade Ratters, adding to their available safehouses across Azeroth.
