Shadow Queen
Known as the main connection of the God of Darkness, the Shadow Queen is one of the main figures of the Dark Realm as well as part of the realm's monarchy in the kingdoms of Simulacrum and Nox.
Requirements
The crown princess, who has the blood of the Umbra whether if she's half-breed or pure, must belong to a royal family who served the Court for a minimum of 40 years. Not only that, but she must also have been connected to the Darkness Gods in some way in her life.
Responsibilities
One of the Shadow Queen's duties is to observe many Umbras living in the Dark Realm as well as rectifying and answer several problems regarding the kingdom's living conditions and resources. As she is known for deciding the kingdom's fate, the Shadow Queen must make decisions depending on the situation such as a coup, resource shortage, or any terrorist act in the kingdom.
She is responsible for approving promotions to the Royal rank and permissions for adding new soldiers, mercenaries, and researchers to her court. This also includes the approval of a Dark Soul Shifter's entry into a special organization in another world.
Benefits
The Shadow Queen has access to the royal relics that can be only accessed and held by the monarchy, which is known for its unimaginable amount of dark aura around them. They are also granted a shifting castle that allows them to shape whatever room and design they can imagine.
History
According to the history scrolls, the Shadow Queen came about when God has chosen a young woman who managed to put down several corrupted Shadow creatures during the War of Balance. While there are few shreds of evidence about this event, there have been several statements from the previous Queens' families regarding the legend's viability as a real-life event.
Cultural Significance
Because of their reputation as the connection to the God of Darkness, many kingdoms revered the Shadow Queen as an envoy of God and are highly respected by the military and research fields.
