Dandie Ex-Marsh
Dandie Marsh is the son of Knox Marsh, brother to Kroger and Kraft Marsh, and was once the son of Cane Marsh before he disowned him.
He lives in the far south Fascal and still keeps in touch with Kroger and Kraft occasionally via letters.

Personal history
While Dandie is the second oldest of the Marsh trio he usually acted as the older brother. He was never as scared of his father as Kroger or Kraft were. Dandie got the reputation of being the cool, laid back, bad boy of the group. He got the lowest grades out of his brothers and never pursued any extracurricular activities. It wasn't that he didn't care, he was just going through life at his own pace.
This made his father furious. And Dandie kind of found it funny. He argued that he didn't have to conform to his father's standards and that he should be able to enjoy life his way. They constantly argued back and forth, making the Marsh household hell on earth sometimes.
But it all finally came to a peak when one day Kroger came to Dandie's room crying. He had been attending Duke Klondike's Knight Academy for a few years and was visiting home for the holidays. Kroger had finally cracked under all the pressure. The stress of attending the academy and trying to meet his parent's expectations finally broke him. He admitted to Dandie that he wanted to quit the academy but couldn't due to both not wanting to be a disappointment in his parents and not wanting to abandon Caven, his best friend and the only reason he stayed sane during school. Kroger had never let these emotions surface before, but they finally boiled over and Dandie was the closest person he could trust.
Dandie was both enraged and deeply saddened by Kroger's confession. He had always looked up to Kroger because of how strong and stoic he was and to finally see a crack in the shell destroyed him. Kroger made Dandie promise not to tell anyone. Especially not his parents. Dandie promised, but this wasn't something he could let go. He talked to Kraft about it, and they both agreed to confront their father.
It was about a week or so after Kroger headed back to the academy when they did so. It was a screaming match between Dandie and Cane. Dandie shamed Cane for making his own sons feel oppressed and live up to his impossible expectations while Cane argued on the side of family, experience, and that everything he did was in their best interests. Then the time came where Cane asked if Kraft felt the same way. And all it took was Cane's furious stare to make Kraft back down. And he said "No."
Dandie had never felt so betrayed. After over a decade of being there for each other, helping each other meet their father's expectations, only to end in betrayal and fear. Cane then asked Kraft if Kroger felt the same way. Kraft said "I don't think so."
Dandie's coffin had been made. He won the argument but lost in the battle of wills. He went upstairs, grabbed his things, and left the house, Cane yelling at him to turn around. But Dandie never looked back. Kroger didn't find out about this for another year and Kraft never spoke of it. As for Cane, he hasn't spoke Dandie's name since except for when Kroger was visiting home again and he asked if Dandie was right. "No sir." was Kroger's only response for the rest of the night.
Dandie tried to distance himself from the family as much as possible. He didn't want his actions to hurt the blooming futures of his brothers, nor cause any heartache for his mother. He didn't even show up to Kroger's wedding. Which is why it meant the world to Kroger that Dandie showed up to Lin's funeral.
