Lemon Shark

Lemon Sharks are a species of shark that live in The Pearl Sea. They prefer warm, shallow water and tend to stay closer to shore. Lemon Sharks are often referred to as "The World's Friendliest Shark." (by me)

Their colorful yellow appearance contrast to the glistening light blue water makes them stand out, causing them to be known by predators. To combat this, Lemon Sharks produce an extremely sour liquid in their skin, causing them to be quite unappetizing. It is said that if this liquid gets in a creature's eyes, they might end up blind!!

Lemon Sharks prefer to travel in groups of five or six, with the young in the center and the adults surrounding them.

They seem super friendly and cute!! I want to meet one someday....

Warm and shallow salt water.

Since Lemon Sharks have no teeth, they often hunt Jelly Belly Fish, for their gummy texture goes down smoothly.
Behavior
Most Lemon Sharks lie at the sea floor in shallow waters and lounge about for most of their day. They are also very playful creatures and like to play by chasing each other around. What a life....
Reproduction
Once a year hundreds of Lemon Sharks find a shallow bay and reproduce in it. This can cause the nearby waters to become extremely sour and may kill nearby wildlife. Each Lemon Shark can have up to six children at a time. Can you imagine? A baby lemon shark...... . .. ..
