Smog is a mysterious fellow that Sable met in jail. It seems like he has been there a while and has info on Mike and Ike.

They allegedly borrowed money from a bank to gamble, but after losing it all, they couldn't pay it back. They then tried to steal from the infamous millionaire Spangler Cane, but was caught. He lost custody of his daughter Fini when he was put in the cell, and requested that Sable go find her to check on her.
