Children of the Six Divines

Structure

Children of the Six Divines isn't as organized as many other religions, however it still has a leader, Kateri. Under Kateri, there are six smaller leaders, each one claiming to be speaking to one of the six gods. The leaders are:

Asha, who is the child of Izdur the goddess of life, rebirth, and spring.

Ivan, who is the child of Etar, the god of death, winter, and the underworld.

Haven is the child of Phiarus, the god of medicine and health.

Clovis is the child of Aeyar, the goddess of war and justice.

Livy is the child of Indos, god of the sea, aquatic life, and love.

Ovid is the child of Ither, the god of the sky, birds, starts, moon, and sun.

Culture

Children of the Six Divines' behavior depends on which of the gods they follow. Typically, a follower of this religion worship all the gods to some extent but have one or two favorites on who they focus their worship; the ways each of them worships each of the gods are as follows:

Followers of Aeyar worship by participating in sports, battle or other physical activity. Followers of Aeyar believe that by participating in these activities, Aeyar will give them the ability to win.

Followers of Etar believe that Etar requires offerings, typically food or some sort of animal. The offering is placed in a circle then burned until there is nothing left.

Followers of Indos believe that connecting with the water and the earth through meditation is the best way to worship. Exploring the world and silently taking in nature is considered a religious activity, and experiencing closeness with another human may be romantic, sexual, or platonic love.

Followers of Ither are similar to the followers of Indos, and they are often worshiped together. Followers of Ither wosrhship by being close with nature.

Followers of Izdur worship by helping others emotionally and reforming society a whole into a new culture that is more caring for the poor and judged.

Followers of Phiarus worship by helping others physically, espically the sick. Many of them including John Polidori become doctors to worship Phiarus.
