The Island Return

How are you guys handling returning? Are you going straight to the Condessa with the medallion? Hiding it and never telling her about it? how.
Pedro, will keep quiet around the Inquisition soldiers. He said his peace to them on the island. Their lives are their own. If they give him any trouble, he'll use what he has in his medical bag to drug them into the middle of next week to keep them from causing trouble. Once on land, he'll want to just turn the soldiers loose nowhere near where the Condessa is. Like say in a small port town where they can find their own way but not have a clue to where we are going. Then , he will want to go immediately to the Condessa to describe the events and the situation. He feels she should know the Inquisition has an all too keen interest in amulet and may have designs on what she is after. After that, he'll want to turn over the amulet and the inquisition letter to the Condessa. Pedro has zero plans about hiding any of that from the Condessa.

Una is happy to return to the Condessa's house to tell her about the adventure. She will be hesitant about handing over the amulet because there is so much that could be learned from it. I am assuming that she took more time while on the island to talk to the natives about any local traditions and folklore about the amulet and where it came from. She will hand it over, but I want it to be understood that she is wanting more time to study it and that she thinks it might be important to have on our next quest since we are obviously going to continue working on this legend. There should be a city (or at least a castle!) that was the original home of this amulet and she will want to find it - for the scientific curiousity of course.

Don Ramon after such an arduous journey will want to see to his wardrobe as some of it was damaged in the jungle (sigh). After he is well rested, bathed and fed, only then will he hire a proper carriage to take him to the Condessa's Estate for whatever it is she will want of him next.

OK, we have one who wants to tell the Contessa about and one who doesn't. Do you want to start on the trip from the docks to the house to discuss what will or won't be said or at the Condessa's house because noone is talking to each other?
We should flip Don Ramon's trunk for it! Lid? We talk! Bottom? We don't talk! :D ... Ok, seriously. I would prefer we start the trip from the docks to the house so the characters can talk it out since Una and Pedro have two different viewpoints... and Don Ramon can properly tend his wardrobe back to health!!

I agree that we start from the docks. I am not saying we don't tell her, but maybe not everything all at once???

Tend to my own Wardrobe!?! I have hired people for that. Flip my trunk? I think not! Don Ramon will happily go along with whomever wins this dispute over the amulet. Besides I have more important thing to do, like deciding what to wear when we meet the Condessa again. Appearances are everything.

Now now, there's no need to flip your trunk lid over that. and besides, you may have hired people for that ... your wardrobe experienced.... WILDERNESS! BRIARS! BRAMBLES! It might even be called a full assault by Nature against your attire! Surely you'd want to personally inspect each item in your wardrobe... just to be sure they're safe?!?!?

Ok, there is now a Docks Board with a thread you guys can start posting in.
