And there, in the middle of the Land was the Forest, called by some people the Ancient Forest, but better known as the Temperate Forest, for its climate was Temperate through outmost of the year. Where does it descend from?!

The Tempurate Forest descends from a long and ancient line of Forests called Ancient Forest, which is described in great detail with the following chartr:

• Ancient Forest

  The first forest that ever was, created by descent of the reat Oak onto the land of the People Before Time.

  • Rowan Greens

    The land of rowans but other plants, especially trees as well. It comes from the Ancient Forest but sometimes is connectred to some other parts, called the Big Forest, for distinguishing purposes.

  • Great Oaken Forest

    The Great Oaken faction lead by the Oaks of the NeverRising Sun. The most ancient part of the Ancient Forest.

  • The Ashen Grounds

    Grounds only by the name, when in reality the land is vividly green and covered in ash trees thousands of years old. Only less ancient in age then the Oaken Forest.

This text is a piece of somthing I think at one poiint could become an article, but at this point in space and time may need a few more iterations of rewriting. Lets start with the beginning, since this is the easiest part. Once upon a time therre was a land, commonly referref toas the Land of People, because, surprize, people lived there. There was nothing, except plains, grass, food, sometimes animals, on which the people could survive and thrive but life could be bettter. Then, noe day, from the scky came a Giant Oak, commonly refered to as the Ancient Oak. It did not say anything, becaused it was an Oak and Oaks don't speak, but everyone knew what was going to happen next. The Big Oak, commonly refered to as the Ancient Oak, saw that the land was nice (it was indeed a nice land to begin with) but thouight (this Oak thinks, I promis) it could do better. So a signal was sent into the sky on a Giant Rainbow, wnhich was not Bifrost, but Some People refere to it as Bifrost, because looks are deceiving. Then, came from the ?Skies other Giant Trees and saw that the land was indeed " good and could be better" as described by the Giant Ancient Oak in the message. So they began sending messsages to other Ancient Trees to come down to this Land and from this moment it was no longer the Land of People, because there were more Trees, Ancient TRees, than the People. Of course this was good for the Trees, because there were more of them and for the land, which was getting greenier and treeier, but for the People it was not, becaues there were leess of them and they could not longer see easchother and could not ride in straight lines (it's faster that way), so they became disgruntled. And thus came the WAR. THE BIGGEST WAR SO FAR! THE BIGGEST SINCE THE FIRST BIG WAR, WHICH WAS A HUMAN WAR. THIS WAS THE FIRST BIG WAR BETWEEN PEOPLE AND THE TREES, THE FIRST ANCENT TREE WAR! The People of the People tribes were marching wit torches and haystacks to burn down the Ancient Forest and bring the times of relative poorness and prosperity for their own gain, just ike they did for millenia before. The trees on the other hand felt safe in their cozy forests, because there was a a lot of water in the moss and they undesrtood physics that the fire cannot burn when there is too much water. Little did they know... they were right, and so the FIRST ANCIENT TREE WAR ENDED WITH THE TREES DEFEATOING PEOPEL after no longer than a single day, and in some places a few days, becaues the distances were bgger. And with this began a new Era, the Era of Prosperity for the Ancient Trre Folk and the New Era of Adjustment for the People, who learned that the trees cannot burn with high water content. And so this led toi the dividion of People into People, Who Understood Fire Hate Water (PeWUFiHaW tribe) and Peopl, Who Always Tried Lighting Fire With Damp Wood But Never Succeded (PeWATLiFiWiDa tribe). Naturally, the second tribe could no longer live in lands conquereed by the Ancient Trees, so they limited themselves to live in the meadows, the plains, the mountains, the seas, the rivers, the sand, the desertts, which was convenient because they could ride in straight lines as they always wanted to, except for seas and rivers, because you cannot ride on rivers and seas, but you can swim and sail in straight lines and that's what PeWATLiFiWiDa did, because they learned how to sail and swim, since they could adjust. The other tribe, which was nicknamed PeWUFiHaW, but which called themselves Tree Tribe, lived in Forests and they invented many things, like hammacks and tree-houses, which could not be possible without trees, btu which were convenient. And it turned out, that if you leave a damp wood on the sun and cover it from rain it becomes dry and can burn, so people of PeWUFiHaW could burn fires when they wanted to, but could not and would not light the forest on Fire, because they were PeWUFiHaW and understoot that the Wood Does Not Light On Fire When iT iS Damp with Water. But oil was good, so a wood damp with oil could burn and burn pretty well, but that is another story and it happened millenia after, and led to the dissolution of PeWUFiHaW into many tribes, named after the oil they used to light the wood with and to the formation of many smaller forests as they are known today. Temporate Forest is not one Of them and it existed somewhere else, but possibly near the Ancient Forest. Or not, so the stories say.

In the great great depths of the Temporate Forest lies a place of much renown, of which only several people (or sseveral tribes know). the hidden knowledge is accessibble to everyone but only understud by not too many.
