The Weavers of Symmetry
Blesseth be the Eternal Symmetry, which takes its roots in the Indivisible.
Summary
The Weavers of Symmetry is an ancient order specializing in various forms of repeating arrangements, be they simple like the reflection in the mirror or complex like patterns of the seasons, weather and human behaviour. It was founded in Gáláwá around the discovery time of the Topaz Cavern. People who started venturing to the depths of caves have found highly symmetric forms of crystals and decided to study them more. Over time, they started to identify geometric patterns in plants and animals. Then, on a more abstract level, in the behavior, emotions and social strucures.
Weavers of Symmetry typically lead a very humble life, even hermitic at times. As people who clearly see the repeatance, they are the very definition of minimalism — Less is always more to cite one of the ancient leaders of the order. Identify, understand, leverage is the motto, by which they study and work. Their goal is to bring out the visibility of patterns to everyone, so they too could see how sufficient can lives be.
Some of the findings have transpired into the culture surrounding the order. An example of it is the game of 1-3-8, which is based on three highly symmetric forms of tetrahedron, cube and octahedron. and the relation of their volumes.
Student life
The students will spend their days observing nature by assisting in everyday tasks of the miners and craftsfolk. The essence of these chores is to understand where the symmetry comes from (observing crystals in the mines) and how it is used to create tools, art and household items (observing the craftsfolk).
The process of ending the path of a student depends only on the learner and how bright they are. Some can grasp the basics and implement them in a year, while others can take the whole lifetime. Truth be told, the typically encountered lack of interpersonal relations in the student years is the very reason behind the relatively small size of the order.
