CRAFT YOUR STORY IN THE REALM OF ÁVRA

  There is only darkness...Suddenly, a small light! A candle has been lit, by what hands, unknown...   As the shock of the flickering flames sudden light fades from your eyes, you can now see what lays before you. An ancient wooden desk, mystical runes carved into its dark grain. Surrounding a sealed scroll, three small easels upon which perch three ancient tomes. You approach and unravel the scroll, it is a map of some unknown world. On the back is a hastily written note, you begin reading aloud, "Before you sit all that is left of the ancient realm of ÁVRA! Read of them, that the legends of this fantastical realm may never die."   Before you sit the three books, the final relics of an entire realm erased from existence. The first, titled "The Compendium Chronicles", seems to be a record of the adventures of a band of great heroes. The Second, labled "Player Handbook" is a simple book, and appears to detail the workings of a fanciful game. The third and most intricate of the books is simply titled "The Compendium". Unlike the others, The Compendium seems to emit a glow from its pages, helping the candle light the darkness.   So, adventurer, which do you read first? As you make your choice and begin to read from the chosen tome, you hear a subtle whisper in the darkness: "Welcome to ÁVRA!"
