Kiralda attended and graduated from the College of High Magic in Far Faerie. He has a doctorate in enchantment and a bachelors' in potion making. He also minored in evocation and abjuration.

Employment

Kiralda worked as an assistant blacksmith from the age of 244-250. His employment ended when his employer caught him stealing. After that, he worked odd jobs for the next couple of decades. When Kiralda was 292, he landed a job as a janitor at the prestigious College of High Magic in Far Faerie. While working there, he began to study magic in secret. One of the professors noticed this, and he was allowed to study provided he still fulfilled his duties and the professor provided his tuition. Kiralda left that job when he graduated at 400. He has practiced magic professionally since that time.

• Ethsa. Kiralda raised his younger brother from the time they were both very young. He is very protective of Ethsa, and sent almost all of his earnings home. It was only after Ethsa joined the Order of Sky and was taken care of that Kiralda started to explore his own interest in magic, and allowed himself to drop out of Ethsa's life.
