Changes in the Geopolitical situation as of 2022

A brief summary of things that have changed since 2010.

The Endbringers

Following the events of 2010 large creatures dubed Endbringers have periodicaly attacked cities around the globe causing destruction on a national disaster level. This has had the effect of galvanising the international comunity into putting many of their differences asside (At least for now). Unfortunatly this has also lead to many of those nations ruled by super powered dictators to remain so as noone wants to risk starting a superpowered conflict when an endbringer could attack their home at any time.

USA

The United States of America has reformed since 2010 managing to set asside many of the differences between the states and elect the extreemly popular President Andrew Cunningham in 2014. New York was reinstated as a state in 2015. Tension between the US and Atlantis

remains over Star City which is still under Atlantean control.

Atlantis

Atlantis remains the most powerful nation on the planet and the largest net exporter of Culture and Technology, however the newly reunited states and the kingdoms of europe are growing in power steadly.

Atlantis is currently putting a large investment into their growing space program with the news cycle speculating that they are planning the first steps of a Mars colonisation effort.

Super Heroes

AGIES

American Elite Government Intervention Service. US government agency established in 1962 to deal with superhuman and paranormal threats to public and national safety. Reestablished in 2018 now also containing superhero agents.

Alpha Force

Alpha Force

The largest and most influential superhero orginisation, orginaly based in Atlantis they have recently moved their headquarters to a space station built from V'sori wreckage in LEO. This move was made in no small part to remove the orginsation from any semblence of national bias.

Alpha Force works to enforce internation law as it pertains to Super Powered individuals and to assist in emergancies, their current focus is in combating the Endbringer threat and protecting the earth from any alien attacks. Noone wants a repeat of the V'sori invasion.
