To Become a Wyrmling Caelfoc
Becoming a Wyrmling Caelfoc is often the only step a member will take in the Caelfoc. While the job promises work and experience, few are willing to take that deadly next step.
Wyrmlings are generally regular citizens that have showed an interest in the Union or been referred to the guild via other governmental organizations. After a successful interview with one of the head Great Wyrms, a Wyrmling is quickly inducted and given a glimpse of all the benefits that come to those Caelfoc that climb the ranks and make it to the heights of the
Ancient Caelfoc, then they are shown the death rate and informed about the risks of advancing beyond being a Wyrmling.
Due to the heavy truth that is the mortality rate, many Wyrmlings make it clear that they have no interest in advancing in the Union.
To Be an Wyrmling Caelfoc
Wyrmling Caelfoc are a permanent labor force that officially assists
Renan cities with clearing ice off city streets and digging new drain-off ditches.
Wyrmlings operate in groups of ten to twenty that are supervised by an
Adult Caelfoc. They work long hours after storms to bring the roads and passages that make up a Renan City back into working order. Whether that only means clearing roads and maintaining paths or digging long drain off ditches while boiling ice off the roads the Wyrmlings can be found working most hours in the cities they inhabit.
This does mean that Wyrmlings are often good points of contact for those that are looking for information on how the city operates behind the scenes.
