Darshay Battalion Athenaeum
This magically conjured fortress sits within the Battalion as a sanctuary of knowledge.
And this intimidating fortress is the Athenaeum. For all you prospective casters there, the hobgoblin who conjured this structure collated all known magics and put them into books in this library for you to utilize and copy. A little give back from the legatus to help you advance.
The towering walls of Golock's fortress stand as black pillars of arcane power. It is open to all, but foreboding to those whom might mean to harm it. The entrance to the small keep nestled up against the far north side away from the road. Crossing nearly the 90 feet of wildlife growth you enter in double doors to a wide hallway. At the end of this short hall, just 5 feet in, is the library. A glistening hall of learning, glided in finery. The library itself is rather empty currently. With space for thousands and thousands of tomes. Along the outside edges of the learning hall are various rooms where the most learned patrons live and research as their want. There are small dining halls where food is served by invisible servants to those who sit with book in hand. Here is the place to learn, here is the place to study.
The hobgoblin owner; Golock can be seen returning sometimes with books, and fleeing once again for more, always in pursuit of knowledge. His Simulacrum wanders the halls, pointing out tomes for a Homunculus which reads ever into the night.
Architecture
Conjured by a powerful magician of the Battalion, the Athenaeum bears hallmarks of it's unnatural origin. The bricks that make up the walls are perfectly set, the halls are never dirty, and strange sounds float through the library.
