Temní - The Sculptor

The god of art, and second of the Divine Twins. His purpose in the world was to bring joy and civilisation to humanity, and this he did well. Bringing music, art, painting, and writing from the workshop of Katas down to the world, Temní is responsible for many of the fine things that mortals enjoy today.   After battling his brother for many years and even after being risen to full divinity, Temní never lost sight of his goal; guiding mortals to a better, fulfilled life. Now he acts as the patron of artists of all kinds, and encourages creativity and freedom wherever possible. While in modern times he is not seen as the most powerful god, The Sculptor is nevertheless a favourite amongst city folk who care for artistry.

Divine Portfolio

Temní holds domain over the Minds and Souls of mortalkind. He is the Lord of Art and Poetry, Music and Laughter, God of Beauty and Language. His reach is great even outside of civilisation, for any who have ever marvelled at the beauty of a sunset or delighted in listening to songbirds are, in their very souls, paying homage to The Sculptor.

Divine Relationships & Shared Portfolios

Twin Gods of Passion

Kanzu and Temní were the first of the Demigods, children of the Gods with incredible power, destined to change the course of history. For this they are forever entwined as brothers no matter their battles, and together they guide mortals towards their desires. Kanzu is the Passion of the Body; the thrill of battle, the embrace of a lover, the freedom of indulgence. Temní is the Passion of the Mind; the beauty of a painting, the joy of a song, the rapture of a story.

City Gods

Talsia, Olsír, Katas, Patír, and Temni are the five great city Gods. They are more widly honoured throughout the Republic of Osa in every settlement as patrons of civilisation. Some even claim that Temní is the master of this domain, for while the other four are the reason cities are able to exist, Temní is the reason people desire them in the first place as bastions of art and learning.
