The White Halls

The White Halls is a long hallway of glowing white that goes on endlessly, brancing in all directions without overlapping, and yet you can always be one turn away from where you are meant to be.

Cultural Context

White Halls are a location found in the Kriocean religion, as well as general folk lore from around Ersha.

Kriocean

In Kriocean, it's called the 'Sacred Cenotaph of the Mystic Clouds' and is the home of the gods and the dead. Though it is damaged and the dead are being slowly sucked into The Between.

Folk Lore

In most folklore the white halls are where you go when you dream. Each room in the hall representing someone's dream. If you can find your way out of your dreams you can travel the halls and join the dreams of people you know. Though you must leave their dream before they wake up or your soul will be sucked into The Between.
