The Vault of Salore

A huge room carved deep into the mountainside in Salore, Korbasa.

Elma Pritchell and her team discovered the ancient ruins of Salore up in the mountainous region of Korbasa (on the east coast of Anvil).
To their surprise, the city remained untouched and unlooted, and many amazing discoveries were found including a remarkable set of fertility totems and some kind of technology lost to the ages, the Wings of Salore, which enabled the predominantly corvidan population that lived there to fly up and down the steep and otherwise impassable terrain.

The Salore Hoard

Carved deep into The Great Stubs is an impressively large vault. It's unclear if this storage functioned as a bank, ceremonial hoard, or as a loot stash from raids and warfare.
The Salore Hoard contained: ancient texts too old to read and in languages unknown, statues, coins, metal ingots, jewels, artifacts, pottery, and weapons.
Elma Pritchell and her team are working on rennovations to the city in order to turn it into a research center and living-museum where people can come and visit. The progress is slow because transporting materials and people safely through the woodlands and up the mountain is complicated and dangerous.
