League Captain

The structure of Avsovos is not kept to one consistent organization style across its many leagues, leaving each league's structure to its own individual leaders, who are often referred to as League Captains.

Herding Adventurers

League captains are given free reign over the league they lead, permitting them to appoint their own co-captains or other forms of leadership as seen fit. They are often encouraged to do so as their leagues grow in number, as many past captains have been known to stumble under the sole responsibility of overseeing a growing league without aid. Those who are stubborn enough to push through on their own, or refuse to give power to others tend to see their leagues dissolve not terribly long after they begin to pick up traction.
There is some prestige to being a League captain, as the opportunity is one rarely given by Avsovos, instead preferring that their existing Leagues develop before adding too many new ones to the mix. If a prospect arises with an adventuring niche unique enough to be deserving of its own League, however, the company is more inclined to support the creation of a new League which might support it.
Though rare, new leagues have been formed in the past due to a falling out between two co-captains of existing Leagues. When these quarrels result in a divide across the League as a whole, the Adventurer's League may permit one half to maintain its original League title, granting the other their own new one.

Reliquary League

The current Reliquary Captain is known as Keari, who is a powerful defender and defensive magic user known for her protective nature and love for discovering new things. She was the one who spearheaded the creation of the Reliquary League, bringing together adventurers who had a taste for the scholarly side of adventuring and shared her drive to learn more about the historical mysteries of the land.
