11. Leave diary alone

With a tsk and a shake of his head, Grim put the diary back into its drawer and closed it. He turns his attention back to the cluttered shelves and rusted tools that surround him.
For minutes, he shifts through the disarray, his fingers tracing the outlines of jars and cans, his eyes scouring every corner of the shed. Dust billows around him as he works.
But as the minutes stretch on, Grim's frustration grows. He cannot spend much time on this. He has more people to meet before he needs to leave the planet again.
"...either you read the diary with me, or you can leave."
