Hypnos & Thanatos

Patron Gods of the Khenra

The Twin Gods of Sleep and Death, Hypnos and Thanatos, are The Common Pantheon's gods of sleep and death. Often considered to be among the most compassionate gods of death, their followers often lean towards one of the two sides of their beliefs.
Hypnos (Sleep) is often depicted as a slender man dressed in robes with stark blue hair. Eyes that never open seem to take in everything around him.   Thanatos (Death) is often depicted as a well-built man covered in black plate mail with a sickle upon his back. A pair of pupilless eyes scan the area around him as if he is viewing the deaths of those he looks upon.

Personality

Duality is the best way to describe the personality of Hypnos & Thanatos. When encountering them as a pair, it is often one of them speaking through both. Hypnos is known as the more caring and one to deal with the living giving them hope and guiding their dreams. Thanatos is known as the harsh reality of life, speaking in absolutes and often unforgiving
