Mark I: Aerurus Prototype
The Mark I: Aerurus Prototype is considered the very first Airship in Phrelle. Developed by the Aerurus Foundry Workshop in the late 6th Tenebrae Era, this Prototype would make its first real successful mission during the War of Ezora.
While this project took years to complete, it would later be designated a success and be known as Mark I: Transport. Said to have several variants during its initial run, this airship brought about the various other "Mark" projects during the Aerurus Foundry time producing new technology.
The Mark I was developed in Old Haven with the Aerurus Empire's territory of Yedria. It required a body of water to both takeoff and land. It was able to hover momentarily, and the ability for it to swiftly move was limited.
Power Generation
The prototype airships used a volatile power generation system, which consisted of arcanely enchanted crystals. These crystals would be filled with high level mage's most powerful spells. The prototype version of these arcane crystals would undergo many alterations after the first successful flight.
Propulsion
The prototype airship would undergo several alterations to its propulsion system before the first successful mission. In the successful mission, they created a three turbine system. These turbines (AF-T1)would be placed in the forecastle, midship, and aftcastle.
Weapons & Armament
While a few of the Prototype airships later in their production would attempt many different Armaments, those would be rolled into later projects. Thus the Mark 1: Aerurus Prototype focuses on the Transportation Varient.

I really like the idea of an airship that still requires the water for take-off and landing. How does this ship compared to more modern ones? Or is it currently the most modern one? :) Keep on world-embering! :D

The prelude to the current storyline was the second version of this ship the Mark II which was just posted. We had Tiamat rise and now the mass amount of players (west march style so about 100 active) have been thrusted 1,000 years into the future. Anymore would give them spoilers =D
Dun dun dunnnn!! :D
