With the discovery of magical meteor fragments, the kingdom of Novarré is thrust into a Golden Age of Magic.

In the year 500 BC, several meteors were spotted landing in the Unknown Wilds and the Western Territory, sending shockwaves throughout the entire kingdom. With the kingdom Novarré still young during this time, it was discovered that the meteorite fragments held great untapped power from within. It was believed that the meteorites were gifted by an unknown benevolent deity sending them through the Astral plane to Úsela. Soon, it was mined as a resource and quickly led to the growth of the kingdom better than it is in recent years. The births of many technical things and beings like automatons and warforged were part of this great golden age. There was cause for concern however. Every magic user that got close to the fragments, experienced irregular power fluctuations (increase of decrease in magical abilities, nullification of certain magic, and various forms of mood swings).
