Annual World Peace & Harmony Conference

This conference was established in 1946 by leaders of the Eirinist faith to promote peace and harmony. Invited to the conference researchers, clergy, politicians, diplomats and other leaders form countries and organization around the world. At the conference there are peace talks, researchers showing making panels, diplomats exchanging information and politicians making promisses. Since the 1960s a key element of conference has been talks on climate change change and actions around it.   The conference always takes seven days. On the last days various awards are given out to individuals who have distinguished themselves for peace and harmony. The most prestigous title that can be awarded is the Paragon of Harmony. Though this title is not given out every year. The highest annual award is the Antigone Peace Award. It is awarded to individuals who have dedicated their live to a mission of peace and harmony.

Organization Committee

The committee is presided by Antigone. They have organized the conference since the beginning though have only rarely attended in person due to the distances involved. Many members of the organization committee change every year to the location of the conference itself.

Location

The conference is held in a different location each year. The organizers always attempt to choose a location that is symbolic for peace and harmony. The conference of 2020 was held in Kosovo as there had been peace for some time since their independence, but the conflicts are not fully resolved yet.
