Chaos Dice Set

This article is a stub and contains only basic information about the subject.
A set of dragon bone dice that can wreak havoc or bring great fortune when thrown. They are twelve-sided dice with hieroglyphs carved into each side of unknown origin. The dice set was found in a tomb excavation in Egypt. They were sold to collectors and have changed owners several times since then. They are traded in a dice box that is enchanted with a spell to hide the mystical signature of the dice to prevent the APU Dragon Bone Division from tracking the dice down.

Dice Sides

All of the dice in the set have the same configuration with twelve faces each. The faces are different Egyptian hieroglyphs with their respective meanings.

Effect

The chaos dice cause an effect when they are thrown as a complete set with the intent to be thrown as dice. Otherwise they will not activate. Once the effect is activated its impossible to avoid. What the effect is, is determined by the combination of hieroglyphs that are on the top faces when the dice have fallen.   There are a wide range of different effects, but many effects are similar that are slightly changed by the face combination. When multiple faces of the same type are shown that effect becomes dominant and may suppress other effects. The most chaotic results are caused when eight different faces are shown. Each possible combination has a different outcome.
