Crystal Orb of Dark Whispers

A crystal orb on a dragon bone pedestal. The base is about 30 cm high and can hold an orb with a diameter of 10 cm. The lower part of the base is round with a wider base and the orb is held by four extruding arms that end with pointed ends. The sides are carved with a simple line that spirals around the body from almost the bottom to the top. The crystal sphere is made of a dark glass-like material with a perfectly smooth surface and a smoky interior.
The sphere can be used to communicate with ancient spirits of unknown origin. However, most of the time they give terrible advice and try to kill the person they are communicating with. For this reason, the relic is locked away in an undisclosed location.
