Margaux is a curious woman, with a mysterious past of adventuring. She studied at the Imperial College in Cerberus as a student of Arcanogeology, but quit her post-graduate research after her funding was denied due to health concerns for her research assistants. She hired a mercenary outfit and did the research herself. Some twenty thousand years ago, she was in the small desert town of Iskarra earning a small salary as a Cartographic Surveyor for the Imperial Transport Guild. She conducted research into the trace amounts of Phlogistite present in the sands of the Imperium. In trace amounts, it seems to allow for the variety of arcane abilities performed regularly by the citizens of the Empire. However, in the minutes following the murder of her lover, Maya Sicarii, she found herself flung forward in time by milleneia.
