Under her full plate armor, Marzen's red skin and blue-red eyes are prominent features, and her horns flow back over their head, fully betraying her Tiefling heritage.

Personal history

Marzen's mother attempted to kill her at birth, but she was saved by a servant. Marzen's father never revealed the identity or whereabouts of her mother, but raised Marzen with her brother. Despite her physical prowess, Marzen is isolated and unaware of the outside world until a group of men from the nearby village of Marlrose came to her home to kill her on her 20th birthday. In the process of defending herself and her family, Marzen realizes her differences and decides to use her powers to protect others like herself. As a result of her appearance and powers, Marzen faces discrimination and violence from society.
Marzen decided to leave home after her brother's death in order to protect her father's life. She took the armor she had trained in, her brother's sword and glaive, and the helmet of her brother's assailant with her on her journey into the world.

Education

Marzen was trained in close combat and swordsmanship starting at the age of four by her father. Marzen progressed through various types of swords and shields, mastering them all by the age of ten. Additionally, Marzen's father trained her in war tactics and strategy using the teachings of historical generals and admirals. As a result, Marzen possesses knowledge of historical battles and war, which she can apply in any situation.
