Allin Thicket
A region of wetlands and woods that lies a day's travel north of the great city of Phlan in the Moonsea region. The region is sparsely populated with a few farms and hamlets. The region is mostly known for the burial grounds known as Roseyhollow that lies deep in its wetlands. Here several generations of local folk have been interred within barrows, crypts and tombs. Some of the graves dates back to previous civilisations.
Situated next to the burial grounds lies the small village of Allinwick with its Temple of Kelemvor. The villagers are devoted followers of Kelemvor and have tended to Roseyhollow throughout generations. It was recently overrun by undead as an unknown power has risen in the depths of Roseyhollow. Only the fortresslike temple keeps the undead at bay from completely overrunning the region.
The region is dominated by wet woods and a large blanket bog that allows for peat harvesting which is the main resource for the small hamlets scattered around Allin Thicket. In addition there is an abundance of various herbs used as components in darker rituals due to the combination of ancient burials and wetlands.
