Commenor
Residing in the Colonies, Commenor was one of the most loyal planets to the Empire. It was a key trading post and spaceport, connecting the Core planets to the Empire's further holds. It enjoyed prosperity and great immigration for spacefarers looking to make an honest living working as mechanics, shipwrights, and traders. The key resource from Commenor was the unique chrysopaz, a yellow gemstone with uses in power cells, infrastructure, and thermal regulation.
During Operation: Cinder, the Empire used satellites to create massive storms. These storms destroyed much of the planet's ecosystem and settlements, killing millions. They even caused the planet's crust to crack, exposing the surface to the heat of deeper layers.
The remnants of the Commenori government formed a new coalition, the Commenori Reclamation, to recover after the Empire left the system.
