The Weeds

The Weeds are former Flowers whom have not only realized the world they lived in was a lie, but have managed to avoid capture by the Thorns.
They live impoverished lives in various camps next to the massive wall that surrounds the city. The bravest among them risk capture to steal steal food and other supplies from the still functional areas of the city to keep their small communities going.
Most are content with their new lot with life, unwilling to escape the city fully due fear of the unknown what was beyond the wall. Others, however, want things to change, to wake up more of their still trapped kin and find a better way to live. Those with improvised weapons sometimes attack the Thorns themselves, attempting to damage or destroy them to ensure everyone's safety.
