The mysterious chemist of Mistpeak.
Madalene Amber (a.k.a. Madam Thorn.)
Madam Thorn, the only apothecary currently settled in Mistpeak, is a woman in her early 40s. She is of average build as far as can be seen with a vague hourglass figure provided by her corset. She wears a white shirt with red wristbands under a corset which is green and brown. Below she wears a long skirt with several layers. The first layer is of a deep emerald green, much in the likeness of her eyes. The layer over that is purple with gold trimmings and a few golden discs and baubles which dangle from it. This is all brought together by a sash at her waist of a deep crimson colour.
Her hair is jet black, long and wavy, often covering much of her features when she is not smoking. Otherwise it is held in place by a light pink headband. Though her figure is wildly extravagant it speaks more of her fiery and aloof disposition than it does to her extrovertion and willingness to socialise with others.
Currently she's taken residence within her shop.

- Golden hoops dangling from her ears.
- A set of earrings with an emerald orb on each.
- A golden bracer on her left wrist.
- Ankle bracelets, about five of them on her right ankle.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Madam Thorn's life up until this point is unknown by the players. She has encountered the Warforged M3G-AT-R0N and has become rather displeased with the encounter. The latter stumbled into her store, breaking the door down just as she closed down to have a cigarette and read a book. She eyed the Warforged with sheer contempt and hurried him along so she could take care of other business, all the while demanding compensation. Megatron was displeased with the treatment however and decided to break the door further.
She then offered him an extra potion, on the house, by splashing it on his face.
Employment
Madam Thorn works currently at Mistpeak's Apothecary.
However rumours fly that she is was once an accomplished alchemist and that her aloof manner is but a means to hide her interest from prying eyes.

Intellectual Characteristics
Madam Thorn takes her name from her aloof disposition. Though she is not hostile she is barely interested in her clientelle, seeing them as little more than furniture at best, annoyances at worst. As it were, the Madam is far from interested in coin, having taken her place in the Apothecary as a means to support herself and her true interests rather than a mind for profit. She will not hesitate however in shaking down her clientelle for all of their money's worth.
Often she can come across cold and uncharing to those she speaks to, but to the Madam, that is exactly how she likes it as she takes more enjoyment in her work than she does in the company of others.
She is however rather quick to anger when broken out of her comfort zone or her personal boundaries are stepped over.
