Dawsbury General

Dawsbury is a Small town with a simple crossroads, The Mayor is a Mean tempered Loutish man named Yoan the Sour. He was once a soldier for a 'Coward King' but as the coward King's kingdom fell apart Yoan took over his small town as 'The Mayor' which has taken on a specifically Noble non elective status here.

Stores

The Crossroad is a simple Tavern with a Bar in the back, a Kitchen behind the Bar, and 4 Tables aligned on one side of the room, while a simple walkway on the other. A small quiet tavern. The Barkeep is the owner and his name is Hoon, he was once a soldier under Yoan the Sour, and took over the Tavern as ordered.
Yoan's Emporium is the only shop in town, you can find any standard tool or adventuring gear, for 150% of PHB. It is owned by the Mayor. Halfling Gloris Finbottom runs the store on Yoan's behalf.
The Gleaming Shoe is the name of a Blacksmith shop on the edge of town, Stephan will work there if he isn't made Squire yet. The Gleaming Shoe does only simple repairs, and simple work, outsourcing most of the sales of tools to Yoan's Emporium.

Important info

Tenet Henrick, Tenet is the Captain of the Guard, though he does not hold himself as such. He was also a soldier with Yoan, but Tenet has been managing the guard of the small town since they took it over. He also is the dooer for Yoan. His son recently died, and he will give the players the quest to Hunt down whatever is haunting the old church.
Yoan, Hoon, and Tenet, all know that the Priest hung himself because Yoan raped and murdered his wife, because she was trying to get the Priest 'Horris' to try and free the town from Yoan's influence. Though that was over 5 years ago. Yoan is a violent and abusive man.
Lady of the Last Gleam, Nannette. An older nun of the order of Pelor, 'Lady of the Last Gleam' or a 'Sunset Maiden', will approach the Party to Kill Yoan if they stay around more than a day after they complete Tenet's Quest. If they do, Tenet will acknowledge that Yoan was a Tyrant, but he's not interested in anyone else needing to die.

History

Dawsbury was one of the villages under the control of 'Himmlvort the Great' a Coward King that was killed when his Castle was attacked by Orc Raiders. The Castle is now abandon approximately 9 days from Dawsbury.
