Bridgette Mercedes Gates

Bio: The White council of wizards is the premier and only major governing body of mortal practitions of magic, consisting of the elite spell casters. The wardens are something of a police force, standing army, internal affairs, and investigation squad all rolled into one, making them the most visable arm of the council. Bridgett is among the new generation, brought in as part of the attempts of the council to recoup after the war with the Red Court came to its conclusion. Bridgett got most of her magic training in the field as part of the war, serving as a warden for the council, which greatly accelerated her proficiency with combat-applications of magic, though unfortunately left her with some catching up to do as far as the more finesse and detail focused applications. In magical terms, she's got all kinds of raw power to throw around (likely enough to put her in the top percentage for her generation), but lacks a lot of the technical know how to really take advantage of that. Adventurous and outgoing, Bridgett absolutely eats up every new experience she can get since she had her eyes opened to the magical reality hiding under her nose. She's trying to refine her abilities now, and is steadily working through the council ranks, even if her brash outgoing attitude puts her at odds with the stubborn and slow moving politics of the senior council, who see her as a useful thug that helped win a war, but doesn't have much value now that the battles are over. She was granted a throw-away post as regional commander in Arizona, with duties covering most of the American Mid-West, if only because that put her out of everyones hair most of the time. Not that she minds much, the outdoors have always suited her just fine. If she can learn to start using her head more, she'll really become a force to be reckoned with.
Bridgette was a Contestant from Dresden Files, but her Patron said that knowing fiction like she does makes her unplayable, and removed her as a character themselves. She ended up on the Redistribution List.
