Denim Diadem

During the Zombieland campaign, Nifara was only a larva. She dug through the stomach of a large male zombie that used to be a weightlifter, and infested it. She entered the Homestuck campaign, found herself trapped in a crumbling, burned-out skyscraper, and quickly got bored.
She then used her host as evolution material. What she didn't do was have the infested zombie remove its pants first, and so when her chrysalis formed and all the mammal matter in her possession turned to mush, the pants the zombie was wearing broke down too.
The zipper and belt loop sections of the denim jeans were more dense than the pantlegs, and that remained even after her evolution was complete. But it was upside-down on her head, being worn like a crown, tiara, or diadem. Luckily, Nifara's Strife Specibus is Diademkind.
