Flashlight

You'd think a flashlight is a simple thing, but that isn't the case. See what I (Viirin) mean below:
Battery-Powered Flashlight: Standard flashlight. Sheds off-white light in a cone shape, though the center isn't as bright as the circle surrounding it.
Maglite: Yes the namebrand is stated, but any flashlight that's large enough to use as a melee weapon in addition to blinding people due to its increased light intensity. Most commonly used by police officers, private security, nervous people who live alone, and urban explorers.
Kinetic-Powered Flashlight: Usually made of transparent plastic. This type of flashlight needs to be shaken in order to create a charge, which it uses as its produced. Most commonly used by survivalists, spelunkers, and people who don't want to buy batteries.
Squeeze-Powered Flashlight: Small, flexible flashlights that fit on keychains. These flashlights have a small battery inside which cannot be replaced or charged, but they only use their stored power when squeezed between the thumb and index finger. They don't emit much light, but they're not supposed to.
Crank-Powered Flashlight: Durable, heavy, and made mostly of camouflauged metal, these flashlights are most commonly used by military personnel. The brightness of the light increases as it is cranked more, and it decreases twice as slowly as it increases.
