Just Work Already

There are a few examples to look at:
For a refrigerator to work, it must be connected to a functioning electrical source. For a toilet to flush, it must be connected to both a sewage system and a water system. For a television to work, it must be connected to a functional electrical source. For a car to drive, it can't be broken and needs fuel. For a desk fan to work, it needs to have a power source and be somewhere with an atmosphere.
For lands or appliances observing this Law, none of that is true. If you have a fridge, it works. A television will turn on, but it won't be getting any signals! A Contestant would have to get creative to change this.
Law originates from StarBound, since a fridge will keep food from rotting indefinitely, so obviously it has power, but it doesn't need to be connected to anything- it can even be on the surface of a moon sitting on top of a cardboard box and it'll work. So you can slap that Law on stuff from other realities that requires water, power, etc, and it doesn't anymore just like StarBound's doesn't. Televisions exist and can be powered on in StarBound, but none of them get reception, hence the restriction.
