Matter Manipulator

Given to graduates of the Terrene Protectorate after a minimum of one year of education, granting the graduate the title of "Protector".
These high-tech items have quite a few uses, listed below.
Terrain Manipulation: The Matter Manipulator can absorb terrain such as rock, dirt, snow, toxic waste, or liquids such as water and acid. The liquids can only be released, but the solids can be released as crude housing. Walls, ceilings, and floors are easily made from even basic dirt or mud since the matter is being manipulated to be durable enough to walk on.
Resource Extraction: By absorbing the rock and dirt around ore, ore veins can be mined. The Matter Manipulator separates these materials on its own once absorbed.
Lumberjacking and Arborism: Using the Matter Manipulator to cut down a tree yields both wood as material, and a viable sapling of the tree that was cut down.
Construction: As long as the Matter Manipulator has the blueprints, it can craft various workstations, furniture, and better wall and other building pieces. Presence of workstations grants some additional blueprints.
Blueprint Scan and Autoscan: The Matter Manipulator can also scan furniture and other implements it can craft, giving it new blueprints that may otherwise not be available. For autoscanning, absorbing bricks could grant the blueprints for the bricks, and ability to produce it from absorbed clay, for example.
