Sburb Tools, Totem Lathe

The Totem Lathe is an extremely valuable tool. When deployed, it has within a slot a Captchalogue Card, known as a "pre-punched card". This item has something special that only that player gets, showing that the device punches holes into Captchalogue Cards. Not only that, but that Cards are supposed to be put in it and where.   The Totem Lathe, if a dowel is inserted, carves the dowel into a vase-like shape that contains the item's information. If only one Card is put into the card slot, then the dowel will only tell the Alchemiter to print a copy of the normal item.   If two Cards are put into the Totem Lathe's blueprint slot, then the dowel will contain the information of both items, turning the items symbolic uses into magical enchantments, and the items literal physical components.   Example:   A "walking stick" is literally just a long stick. Who cares. Symbolically, because a lot of fantasy wizards are men with long gray beards, and a lot of fantasy wizards have a staff, and a lot of old men use sticks to aid them in walking, and a lot of old men have long gray beards, a long stick looks like a wizard's staff. Most spells seem to be based on ranged effects. Symbolically, a long stick contains magical spells useable by whoever owns it.   An ice cube tray is literally just a piece of plastic. However, it is a tool that if filled with water like it's designed to be, and placed into a freezer, the water will freeze and the ice can be taken out as cubes. Symbolically, an ice cube tray creates ice.   If both Captchalogue Cards are placed into the blueprint slot, then the resulting dowel might print a wizard's staff that allows its owner to cast offensive ice magic.
