Fairy Cup Lotus

A large flower that grows on the surface of bodies of water, most notable for the magically rejuvenating sap that grows within the central chamber of the flower.

Once a common house medicine, it has since fallen out of favor with the invention of Mana using the now much more common Blue Poppies .

Part of it's downfall in popularity, other than it's lesser effectiveness when compared with Mana, is that the Lotus flower is notoriously difficult to grow in a controlled environment. They generally have to simply be found in the wild and harvested there while noting down the location, greatly limiting the amount of material that can be harvested.
