Ghoul Rot

A mundane disease, though many would not assume so upon viewing the end state of infection, that often results from the fighting of the undead. Without proper magical protection, the infection takes root in the extremities first, before progressing towards center mass.

As the disease progresses, bodily tissues break down (both flesh and muscle), eventually resulting in death if no aid is given. One might be able to surmise the disease's given name if one imagines what the later stages would cause the human body to look like.
