The Huntsman Rebellion
Men in buckskins, like remain popular in the Pilgrim Lands today, appeared on the rooftops surrounding the Imperial Regent's entourage and leveled rifles into the crowd. A pair of soldiers interposed themselves between the sharpshooters and the Regent before he could be wounded, at the expense of their own lives. The further quick thinking of the Imperial Mage at the Regents side put him into safety, and many of the assailants were killed. The rest, however, slipped away as if they were never there.

Culminating in the Sixth Battle of the Round Table, the Hunstman Rebellion was a recent conflict between the component nations of the Empire of the Sun, as they fought over the title of Imperial Regent. The rightfully elected member Imperial Regent+ would eventually win out, finding himself the victor, The name comes from an early assassination attempt against the Imperial Regent that kicked the war off in the first place, made by sharpshooters in deer hide, which gave them an impression of their profession being that of a hunter. The name stuck, despite that being fairly far from the truth.
